Love is in the air!

The fairies came and surprised us this morning with a beautifully decorated kitchen table.

We dressed in hearts, wings, heart headbands and lots of tattoos. We made and received tons of beautiful cards from all of our friends. How nice!

All day long we have celebrated the occasion with fun foods like heart shaped pancakes, strawberries and sandwiches. Later we will pink it up and have a special girls night.

I'm thinking pink pasta, fancy dishes and lots of Valentine's cAnDy!

And to end the night a relaxing pinkalicious bubble bath.

Hope your Valentine's is a special as mine has been with my love

a.k.a. my most favorite girl in the world!

Puppet Theatre

SHOWTIME!!!!!

I made this awesome Puppet Theatre for my girl out of yup, you guessed it a cardboard box!

I love using things we have around the house to create fun and interesting things to play with. Call it recycling, repurposing, reusing. We call it being kind to Mother Earth. :)

We had some old boxes lying around taking up lots of precious space in our ever shrinking house so I thought I would put them to good use. I taped them together at the perfect size for my little one to be able to climb into. I cut out a window in the front and a large rectangle door in the back for easy access.

Then the fun part....DeCOraTinG!!! I decoupaged sheet music using Mod Podge onto the entire surface of the box. Taking an image that I printed from the Internet I ripped the paper into various shapes and sizes and applied them the entire box. I then created a fun clock out of cardboard, lace and paint with real movable hands. Then I added a curtain using a dowel and some funky fabric. Lastly was the ticket holder created out of an envelope box that I painted, sponged and added lace to. It was then filled with pretty scrap booking chipboard pieces that make the perfect "tickets".

The side shelves are held up using string and eye hooks that can hold many puppets and accessories. They are easily adjusted to lie flat which makes for much easier storage.

Voila!

The perfect, place to put on a show, tell a story, sing a song or whatever else my little one can come up with. And it was all made out of stuff we had in the house.

I spent the weekend getting ready for my daughters preschool fundraiser. I will be donating the toy box posted below and wanted to have business cards available so people could see what I do and hopefully be enticed to purchase some beautiful hand painted furniture. I also wanted to showcase the variety of art styles I create in one easy to read card and I hope this does the trick. It's funky, clear and gives a lot of information. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and looking forward to passing it out.

This is a hand painted heart toy box that I have been working on in my "spare time" HA!!!!!

I am donating this one of a kind piece of art to my daughters preschool for their annual fundraising event. I really like how it turned out and I hope it brings in lots of moolah at the silent auction in a few weeks. Because of it's unique, handpainted, original design it is valued at $500.

The fanciful colors and whimsical design are sure to make all the girls smile. And my husband will be smiling too because this huge piece of furniture will be out of our cramped house! :) I will miss you adorably cute toy box but I know that you will go to a wonderful home and be lovingly used.

Tumbleweed Christmas written by Beverly Stowe McClure and illustrated by me, Bridget McKenna is now available. This early reader is published by 4RV publishing. A charming story about miracles just in time for the holiday season.

I really like this new piece. I wanted to do something that had a bit more darkness and a night time feel. I have these funky papers that really help showcase the mood I was trying to evoke. I like how the patterns play with the light.

Lightning bugs have such a magical quality. I have fond memories of playing outside my childhood home in the twilight hours on warm summer nights and catching these luminescent creatures. I have not seen them in a while and miss their wonderful, magical light.

This is another sketch I have been working on for a while. It is an attempt to show that I can have multiple people in a scene, with ethnic diversity, while depicting a story.

Publishers seem to think that is really important.

Go figure.

I think it is a hilariously funny idea. But, now when I step back and really look at it I'm not sure what kind of children's book it would really be appropriate for. I still like the idea anyway.

It is definitely outside the box..... sandbox that is.

Here is a new painting I recently completed based on a drawing I have had lying around my studio for literally years. I felt it was time to just get her done and bring her to life. Originally it was meant to be a present for my mother-in-law, a multigenerational quilter extraordinaire. Hopefully someday I can get it into her heart and hand. For now, I am enjoying this piece which I see as having many different interpretations.

My husband mentioned it would be a great ad for heart medication. HA! What do you think?

Artist and illustrator Holli Conger has been an inspiration to me for years. She is an extremely talented artist, intelligent businesswoman and mom. Because she is such a great person who really wants to help people like me struggling in the illustration maket she is having an awesome contest. She is giving away a 3-month illustration marketing consultation.

This would be an absolutely amazing opportunity for me. I really want to win, so put out the positive vibes for me.

I have been pursuing my passion to become a professional illustrator and have had no success on my own. No interest for publishers, agents, etc. Nothing has clicked yet. I have even been considering self publishing just so that I can see my artwork on something tangible. Juggling motherhood, creating art, marketing myself and getting rejections is getting very discouraging and frustrating. I know there is a place for my style of art I just can’t seem to find it or anyone willing to take a chance on me.

I love to create and it is really important to me that my daughter can see one day that mommy is a working artist…. that it can be done.

Homemade Play doh

Recipe for 1 batch of traditional play doh:

2 Cups Flour

1 1/2 Cups Salt

3 Tablespoons Cream of Tartar

1 Tablespoon Oil

3 Cups of Water

Optional:

Food Coloring

Scents

Mix all ingredients in large saucepan.

(Save food color and scents until the end.)

Heat and stir until the consistency of mashed potatoes.

Pour mixture into mixer with dough attachment blade.

(Can be hand kneaded on a well floured surface.)

Mix and add flour (1-2 cups) until dough pulls away from the sides

and is sticking together in a ball.

Add food coloring until desired color is achieved.

Add scents if desired.

Remove from mixer and hand knead about 1 minute.

Place on wax paper or parchment and let cool.

Store in air tight container.

(lasts about 2 weeks)

Our preschool is having it's yearly fundraiser this weekend. It is the 31st annual Halloween Fun Fair. There will be booths, games, face painting (by moi) and a silent auction. Funkolicious Creations has donated a beautiful basket of fancy girl things. Included is a tutu, ribbon wand, ribbon crown, room plaque, treasure box, bow holder, clips, bracelet, and ring. All of the items are handmade and hand painted with love by me.

Value :$200

Hope it brings in a lot of bids and makes some special little girl very happy!

Creating a Painting

I start with an idea from my sketchbook that I draw onto a canvas board or stretched canvas.

Then I trace my sketch onto tracing paper.

I gather some coordinating papers that I will use.

I cut up pieces of paper and glue them to the canvas creating an interesting composition.

Then I transfer my drawing back on top of the paper collage.

Using a brayer I apply paint to the background. Then I gesso the face, neck, hair and arms of the figure.

Glazes of color are then painted to create depth and a cohesive feeling.

Details are added to the face and body of the figure to make it stand out.

Text is printed and affixed to the canvas and glazed with paint to blend in.

Embellishments are added last to complete the illustration.

Who doesn't love tutus?!?!

These handmade frilly, flowery, fun tutus are made with tulle, ribbon and flowers. They can also have elastic for an adjustable, snug fit. They were created using a really easy no sew technique where you simply tie strands of tulle at the waist around a long piece of ribbon or elastic. Ribbons, flowers and other embellishments were also added to create an extremely fanciful dress up accessory.

Fun With Finger Paint - Adults Can Do It Too!

Children are so free when they create. They approach art with carefree abandon and a enviable bliss that keeps them from judgement and criticism. Ahhhhh .... such freedom to just create and enjoy the process of creating art without worrying about the end product. Finger painting is the perfect way to enjoy this pure joy. It is a great activity to enjoy with your child too!

I challenge you to give it a try. While your little one is busy creating their fantastic finger painting give yourself the opportunity to create too. Forget about your manicure or if the paint will get all over the place. Squirt some colors out on a paper plate, dip your fingers, close your eyes and paint. Try to remember what it was like to have this type of tactile experience for the very first time. Feel the paint. The freedom in letting the material guide you. Don't think about what to paint just enjoy the act of painting.

The gift is to show your child that you are able to let loose and create right along side of them. It's a journey and you are experiencing it with them. Display your pieces alongside of each other proudly. A memory to cherish of a shared experience in art together.

Fairy Godmother

I had been feeling uninspired and extremely pressed for necessary studio time. With family, responsibilities, jobs, etc. I was not drawn to spending time in my studio, honestly I would much rather taken a nap. It was definitely time to try something new and different and hopefully less time consuming than my usual paintings. That way I could jump in and start making stuff again.

During a recent trip to the art supply store I was inspired by an interesting art book with lots of different techniques described. I decided to try to make a piece of art that had a lot of collage elements and was a bit out of my comfort zone to challenge where I want to go with my art. The background is a patchwork of papers and the painting style is very free and raw. The painting on top still allows a way of incorporating my illustration style but without such concern for perfection in every detail. The use of interesting elements and embellishments add a feeling of nostalgia as well as another visual layer to the collage.

The idea was to keep the artwork loose and not overwork each part which was very freeing. All too often I am thinking of the end piece while creating and not enjoying the adventure of what may happen during the process. This piece allowed me to let go and have more fun and explore.

It feels to me like an art poem. There is a lot of mood and feeling going on to create a story. It feels like the start of something new for me and that is very exciting. I hope this leads to more funky mixed media collage pieces!

Preschool Art - Matisse Fish Bowl

This is a collage inspired by a famous painting by Matisse called Red Fish. We talked about the fish swimming in the fishbowl. What it would feel like to be a fish swimming around and splashing in the water.

Then I asked the following questions to encourage conversation and observation:

How many fish are there?

What color are they?

Where do you think they are?

Describe the background.

We then tore and ripped different organic shapes from orange construction paper. We cut (with help) a glowing sun. Then we practiced our gluing of the shapes, eyes and bubbles. Lastly we spread out a whole bunch of glue on the bottom of the fish tank and poured colored sand making the tank sparkly and adding texture.

And there you have it a fish bowl masterpiece to enjoy with your very own one of a kind fish...... and none of the messy upkeep.

I had so much fun making these adorable accessories. They are so funky and fun and totally fit with my design aesthetic. They are a great way to dress up any outfit and to have as a personal keepsake. My daughter loves hers and wears it all the time.

They are made using lamp work beads, wire and lobster clasp for extra security. They can be made for babies, toddlers, children, and adults. Each piece can be customized to fit your own personal style.

I had so much fun creating these little gems I literally could not stop. I even created a bunch of pretty bracelets in the same funky style that are not personalized as well. Happy beading!

Today, Mother's Day, I find myself reflecting on how blessed I feel to be a mom. I am so lucky to be able to spend my days with my beautiful, affectionate, happy, healthy, funny, smart, silly, wonderful little girl. I find it fascinating helping, teaching, nurturing guiding and watching her grow. Every day I am overwhelmed by the deep, intense love I feel for my child. Being a mom is a gift that I will forever treasure.

The sides of each piece are painted with a different funky pattern that adds even more whimsy. Each painting is ready for hanging.

I am really excited to show these at my next craft fair. I have been working hard at adding to my inventory and expanding my horizons. I felt Funkolicious Creations needed to showcase my ability to paint canvas works of art in addition to my decorative furniture and wall hangings. I can't wait to hear what my fans think.

Preschool Art - Spin Art

Beautiful, colorful, fun..... Spin Art!

Today we went out and bought an inexpensive salad spinner from Target. Make sure that there are no holes in the bottom or tape them up prior to spinning.

Using card stock or heavyweight paper squirt dabs of paint on the paper and place into spinner.

SPIN!!!!! SPIN!!!!! SPIN!!!!!!!

Be careful not to spin too hard or soft. Have fun practicing to see what speed works the best.

Glitter paint added a lot of fancy sparkle to this one.

We also tried using a craft stick to spread out the paint and make designs and we really like how the effect turned out.

We will definitely be trying this open ended art project again and next time with a bunch of Preschoolers at our play group. It was so much fun and each time you open the spinner it is a complete surprise.

When the spin art was completely dry (it takes a while) we made note cards for friends and family and glued the spin art on top.

Our Poor Dogs - Humiliated In Hats

We are a family that loves to dress up. My husband can't seem to get enough of dressing up our dogs ...... especially in funny hats. It makes him cry with hysterical laughter. When my girl and her daddy start playing "dress up" and "getting ready for a party" these pups better run for the hills because they are not safe. Here are some of the pictures of my poor pomeranians looking a little less than happy at our family antics.

I assure you no animals were hurt in the making of this hilarity.

After creating a whole bunch of ribbon wands I was inspired to try something else. Ribbon Crowns! I had all those pretty ribbons from the wands and used them to create a crown full of fun and whimsy. They add the perfect touch of fanciness to any dress up or regular outfit. We are having so much fun running around our house with all of our pretty, flowy ribbons trailing behind us.

In other words if I don't sell it I won't be that disappointed because I would be thrilled to have it myself. That is always how I judge a great gift. Ribbon Wand

My little one loves to pretend, play dress up and dance and play music. What kid doesn't? In our weekly Music class today the kids and adults danced around with long, colored ribbons that were tied together. They created a room full of colorful floating streamers. My girl was swinging those ribbons like crazy. Her dance moves were so pure and free it was beautiful to watch. As you can imagine she didn't want it to end. When the ribbons went bye-bye the look of disappointment on her face broke my heart so I promised I would make her an even better one when we got home.

A dowel rod, some pretty ribbons, a wooden ball, paint, glitter and only a few burnt fingers from the glue gun and here you have it. A wonderful, fancy ribbon wand to swing to the music, while twirling to the beat and showing off your dance moves. Try it for yourself. It is so fun!

My girl loves to read. I often find her in her room on a cozy chair curled up with a large stack of books. She has tons of books all over our home that she joyfully spends hours pouring over......I am a very lucky mommy.

We recently moved and found a wonderful library in our new town that we love visiting. It's majestic lions await us at the entrance welcoming us into its magical world. The children's section has huge ceilings, bright windows and beautiful classic storybook murals decorating the walls. To top it all off there is a special secret kiddie door that is hidden in a stack of painted books. Every time we visit it is truly a wonderful adventure.

Now that my daughter is getting a little older I am starting to teach her the concept of borrowing books and going to the library to pick out different books. She is beginning to understand the endless possibilities of stories and adventures that await us each time we go and the importance of taking good care of these books so that other boys and girls can enjoy them too.

Each week we go to story time and pick out five "new" books to borrow for a few weeks. But where to put these books of special importance? Holding them is cumbersome, shoving them in the car ruins them, a toddler can't carry more than one and they don't fit in my regular bag. I thought it would be a great project and Christmas present to make a library tote bag.

Lots of my supplies are still packed and disorganized from our move so I wanted a simple no sew project. I bought a plain canvas tote bag from Michael's and went to town decorating and embellishing with fabric, ribbon, buttons, etc. Everything is attached with iron on fuseable web, tacky glue and hot glue. I created a small pocket in the front for a library card and a large pocket in the back for papers.

I love how it turned out. It is cute, fun, easy, practical and best of all Funkolicious! I'm not sure yet how "toddler friendly" it is but time will tell. I hope the bag and my girls love of reading last a long time.

New Beginnings

Why is change so hard? I am amazed at how attached I can become to my house, my things, my routine, and my familiar places. Even if they are not my favorite things they become very comforting in their regularity and familiarity.

Change is good..... or so I've heard. I am looking forward to it but I am also afraid of the unknown. I guess you cannot grow without change so I am up for the challenge. New people, new influences, new opportunities, new outlook, new experiences.

Ready or not here we come.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle

After reading one of the all time favorite children's books The Very Hungry Caterpilar by Eric Carle we decided to bring this little creature to life. We talked about what the caterpillar looked like and how he looked after he turned into a beautiful butterfly. Then we created our own. We painted recycled egg cartons a combination of greens, yellows and white. Then we used a large red pom pom for the head, attached googly eyes, button noses and antenna with glue and when our creatures dried we attached pipe cleaner legs.

They really came to life and developed a personality when the faces went on. The caterpillars are now a favorite play toy to accompany the much loved and much read book as well as a piece of artwork that they can be proud of making.

To reinforce the theme of the book we also created butterflies. We first cut out a simple butterfly shape. With watered down glue we attached little torn bits of tissue paper to our butterfly, then attached the antenna. Then our beautiful butterflies were ready to take flight.

Cruising In Style In My Perfect Town

So I am sitting here fantasizing about living in a really cute town where everything you need is within walking distance. In this town we live in the suburbs and have a yard for our dogs and enough room for all of us plus really great, friendly neighbors and of course a spectacular school system. There is a duck pond where we can feed the ducks and birds. Everyday my girl and I can have adventure filled journeys all through town. We may find animals and creatures swimming in the nearby brook and hidden nooks or fairy dwelling in the neighborhood trees.

For the wee one

We can pick up things for dinner at the local supermarket or eat dinner with daddy at one of the cozy, family restaurants in town. There is a park, playground, art classes, funky stores and a movie theatre all there too. And my art pieces are in high demand at a local specialty boutique... hey why not I'm dreaming big. We can even ride our bikes if we want. How fun!

For my hubby

I dream of this town and I will try to bring in into my world and when I do these are the perfect bikes to cruise around town in. I am using the secret everyday to attract my perfect town. Wish me luck!

The Art Supply Store - A Magical Place

There is nothing more fun to me, besides my glass of wine at the end of the day, than a trip to the art supply store. I know a lot of you crafters out there can relate. It is a world of inspiration and endless possibilities. Anything can happen to spark my creativity and empty my wallet. I think that art supplies are my favorite thing to spend money on. Ahhhhh...... beads, canvas, paper, fabric, paints, flowers, charms and so much more. And each and every item all packaged so beautifully and ready for my hands to create something never seen before.

And then there is the unpainted wood section. The place where I have been focusing most of my attention these days. I examine each piece and start to imagine what it could be. This is where I can take a blank slate and make it into a unique piece of furniture that really comes to life with color, pattern and personality.

Here are some of the pieces I scored on my latest trip to that magical place, the art supply store. I keep finding 40% off 1 item coupons to Michael's and A.C. Moore and I just can't seem to stop myself. It's scary. I 'm really looking forward to painting these. I already have sketches and ideas forming. Everything from colors to designs to themes to creatures.

Now I just need time to sit down and get to work! (Easier said than done.) I will keep you posted when they are finished, beautiful and ready to enjoy!

Make simple chalk drawing come to life by just adding WATER! Create your drawings with your little one and then take a big paintbrush with some water and trace over your lines. The colors become so much more rich and saturated and it's lots of fun too. We like to write special messages on our front steps when company comes over. And our walkway always looks so much more fancy with our own personal outdoor artwork.

Personalized Strawberry Plaque

Here is a new plaque that I made as a gift for a special friend who just had her first baby, little Mallory. I really like how this one came out. The strawberries frame the name so perfectly. It is so cheerful and bright and I know it will look really pretty in the nursery. I hope they like it. I need to take a few more pictures of this one and then it's out the door ..... I promise!

Preschool Art - Le Petit Nevelson Box

We looked at works of art by Louise Nevelson. Then we talked about how she chose to stack boxes and filled then with many different and interesting organic and geometric pieces of wood. We identified all the shapes we could find and discovered some new ones we had never seen before. Paying close attention we traced (with our fingers) the curved, graceful lines of some shapes and the hard angles and edges of others.

We discovered that there can be many different shades and tints of one color. Together we counted all the different shadow colors and light colors of black we could find.

Then we created our own boxes by gluing different wood pieces in our box. Circles, squares, craft sticks, balls, etc. We layered, stacked and placed our pieces in interesting and pleasing arrangements, painted ours white, and VOILA!... our own beautifully striking sculpture boxes inspired by Louise Nevelson.

Flower Headbands

I have seen these headbands in various baby/kids stores and online and I have always thought that they were really cute. They dress up a baby or toddler's head and are especially helpful for adorning the noggins of those who are follically challenged.

I am the type of person that always says, "I can MAKE that!!!" and then I try. I'm not going to sugar coat it. There have been those projects that have been complete failures ending in an exhausted, frustrated money wasting experience filled with blood, sweat and tears. Others have been wonderful, creative adventures resulting in cherished treasures that decorate the nooks in my artistic home.

Some things I have learned to leave to the professionals. But, being a true artist and crafter most of the time I jump into new projects with such a force that there is just no stopping me.

The headbands I think came out really well. Paired with a sweet summer dress they are adorable. I love them even if the intended wearer is still on the fence.

Art Cards

These are a sample from a collection of art cards that I made for my daughter. She absolutely loves going through books and cards so I thought it would be a really fun way for her to look at famous works of art. She can look at them whenever she feels like it and enjoys going through them often. She identifies the content of the artwork and really enjoys looking at the colors and imagery. She has been playing with them since she was about a year old and still finds them a fun source of entertainment.

To make them I found some really great laminating cards that are made of hard plastic and have rounded edges (a must when giving them to babies and children). Then I searched for the specific pieces of art I wanted on the computer, added the names of the artists in Photoshop, printed them out and inserted 2 (one on each side) into the laminated folder. Presto! Awesome art cards.

We have a collection of 50 now and I can see myself adding more as time goes on and her interests change.

Redesigning My Website

I have been redesigning my website for a little while now. I 'm trying to create a new look that is easier to navigate and easier for me to sell my children's decor. Right now the site feels like a hodgepodge of old and new pieces and like my ever growing closet it needs to be reorganized.

Recently I have been painting more large furniture pieces and I can't wait to add them to the mix to add more volume to the amount of products I offer. On my to do list: paint a lot more pieces, take great pictures showcasing my work, add descriptive text and finally organize the website completely. Basically I just need lots of uninterrupted time to get it all done. HA! Well, being a full time mom that will not happen ...... so I will do as much as I can when I can and hopefully I will be revealing the new and improved site soon.

I have a lot of work to do but the finished product will be really FUNKOLICIOUS and I am so excited for everyone to see it (myself included)!

Ladybug Stool

I have been working on some new pieces for my children's decor business, Funkolicious Creations. For a while now I have been wanting to incorporate more furniture pieces into my collection. Chairs, stools, tables etc. I love the plaques and boxes but I wanted some bigger pieces to really showcase my style on a larger scale. So I decided to just start, one at a time whenever I have a little extra time and this is what I have been able to finish so far. I have more pieces that are waiting to be painted next and I am really excited to expand the variety of my art pieces.

This piece is a really cute ladybug with blue eyes and polka dots. She has little pink accents with white dots, green stripped stockings (which were painted with painstaking detail) and little classic black maryjane shoes on her "feet".

I hope to find Miss Ladybug a good home where she will be loved, played with, climbed upon and cherished on a daily basis. If you know anyone interested in having a new friend let me know!

In my house I try not to expose my daughter to a lot of television. Usually an animal or nature show if I absolutely need a quiet moment but I am always right there talking about the animals we are watching and muting the commercials. I feel videos are a very different and a lot better for what I am trying to teach her. (No commercials encouraging consumerism, no fast paced imagery blasting across the screen, limited show time, ability for repeat viewing and deeper learning.) This DVD is especially great. It's 30 minutes of classical music set to animated famous works of art. Picture Monet, Miro, Degas and Pollack coming to life before your eyes stimulating your child's creativity. It is great exposure to works of art in an entertaining, fun and educational way. They have a dance and music DVD too. I just wish they made more of these!

A friend of mine and her family are going through a very difficult time. Their 6 year old daughter has NF for which there is no cure. Their touching story was featured on the TODAY show. In the opening sequence there is a picture of Julia holding a Ladybug painting I recently created just for her. It was so special that they included that picture in the piece. I was really, touched, honored and proud!

Preschool Art - My Starry Night

Together we all looked at and talked about the painting Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh.

The wavy night sky.

The glittering stars.

The dark buildings.

The colors used.

Then we painted what our own sky might look like. We ripped out black shapes for the kinds of buildings that might live in our world. Then we painted wooden stars glittery yellow.

Every time my daughter sees this painting by Van Gogh she gets really excited because she remembers this project. She calls it her Starry Night. She is really developing quite an appreciation for the art world and I am so proud to be her teacher.

Paper Flower Garden

What better way to let your little one "help" you garden. I filled this beautiful pot with soil and lined the inside with stones we collected from the beach. Then together we made our own unique, colorful flower creations out of tissue paper, construction paper, pom-poms and skewers. We found some other plastic flowers and added them as well. My little one loves to feed her special flowers from her own watering can. It's fun, practical and adorably unique.

I made this adorable yellow and white hat to match an outfit for my daughter. It is hand crocheted with large and small plastic daisy's sewn along the ruffled rim with one right on the top. It looks so cute on her and really made the outfit. I'm thinking of more ideas with a similar theme for the future.....I'm seeing ladybugs and teddy bears.

I have been working on these little treasures for our friends birthdays. They are really fun and cute. Each one is personal to the child with their initial on the front. I find them a great little addition to any gift and a unique piece for a kids room. They can even be a house for another gift or small treasure. Ladybugs, bumble bees, butterflies. I am starting this blog in attempt to reach more people, show all the artwork I have been working on and hopefully find a community of like-minded artists. This piece if from a new collection of jewelry I am creating. I love it and it makes me feel really great when I wear it. I am also amazed that I could make it and I didn't have to buy it in a store.
